Jellis Vaes is an artist, entrepreneur, and adventurer.
At the age of 18, he left his home after having suffered from severe loneliness and suicidal thoughts for six years. Over the next three years, he traveled around the world on his own. Along that journey, he mastered his photography skills while traveling through various lands in all kinds of weather and physical conditions.
Through the lens of his camera, he soon learned to notice the minute details of life and how everything changes, evolves, and transforms around us. With his eye for detail trained on life and the amazing planet we inhabit, he captures that world and draws people into the exact moment and place captured by the lens. He has worked with and helped various companies across the globe to bring their heart and soul to life through his pictures.
Currently, most of his time is occupied working on Inner Picture Stories, an educational platform on life, where he is CEO and founder. This platform was formed out of his struggles with his own demons – loneliness and suicidal thoughts.
The platform contains hundreds of resources, life lessons, quotes, practical articles, and a regular podcast. To help anyone who is searching to find meaning, a better understanding about themselves and this world, and to provide tools and wisdom on how to handle challenging times.
